About Us
Welcome to the Reformed Pastor,
a place for discerning hearts in a world of spiritual noise. Founded with a
deep love for the Church and a passion for the unchanging truth of Scripture,
we exist to cut through the clutter, equipping believers to recognize God's
voice, resist distortion, and grow in joyful obedience to Christ.
Our Story
I, Greg Miller, am a writer and
researcher who loves the Church. Reformed Pastor is the home
for that work. This site exists to help you think more deeply about Scripture
and faithful ministry. I have a BA from Deakin University and MDiv and MTS from
the Presbyterian Theological College. I write within the Reformed tradition and
draw from the Puritans and early pastoral debates. These voices offer steady
wisdom for our restless age. They help us see how God's truth shapes the church
and protects the sheep.
Our Mission
The aim in every project is clarity,
honesty, and depth. Sermons are analysed with care. Devotions, such as
the Hesed in Hosea series, aim to lift us to see the glory of
God. Modern teaching is set beside the older confessions, checking for dross.
Each task serves one purpose: to uncover truth and reveal distortion. I work
closely with primary sources from many centuries. These include early Church
Fathers, Puritan treatises, and early Reformed confessions. All these threads
meet here on this site.
Every resource, from devotional
guides and study matrices to theological frameworks, is designed to foster love
for the Word while guarding against potential harm. Above all, we point back to
Scripture as the living Word, active, authoritative, and merciful, revealing
Christ.
At the centre of everything stands
Scripture. The Bible is the living Word of God. It speaks with authority and
mercy. It reveals Christ with clarity. It steadies tired hearts and corrects
false hopes. It exposes the Devil and his tactics to rob, kill and destroy. The
Word of God calls us all to live lives loving God and enjoying Him with every
breathe we take. Every page on the Reformed Pastor aims
to lead you back to that Word. If this site helps you hear God’s voice with
confidence, then it has fulfilled its purpose.
